Can I wear a turban-style hijab?

It depends on what it covers. A turban that covers all your hair but leaves the neck, ears or chest bare isn't complete hijab. The same turban with a neck cover or turtleneck and a loose top can be. Islam cares about coverage, not the name of the style.
Coverage, not shape
There's no single "Islamic" way to tie a scarf. Women across the Muslim world wear wraps, khimars, shaylas and turbans. The requirement is that hair, ears, neck and chest are covered in front of non-mahram men, and that clothes are loose and opaque. The Quran's wording asks women to draw their head covers over their chests (Quran 24:31).
Where turbans fall short
- The neck and throat are usually uncovered.
- Ears and the hairline at the back may show.
- The chest isn't covered by the head covering.
Many turban looks on social media are fashion styles, not hijab styles, and that's fine for people who aren't wearing it for religious reasons.
Making it complete
- Wear a turtleneck or a thin neck tube underneath.
- Pull the turban low enough to cover the ears and nape.
- Add a loose top, cardigan or long shirt over the chest.
- Use an underscarf to catch stray hair.
Scholars' views
Many scholars say a turban with full neck and chest covering meets the requirement, since all the required areas are covered. Others prefer that the head cover itself drapes over the chest, following the wording of the verse more closely, and see the turban look as less modest. If you choose a turban, especially at work, make sure it's complete rather than a half-measure. See Can my neck or ears show when I wear hijab?
Fashion and intention
Hijab is worship, so the intention behind your style matters. Choosing a turban because it's practical or fits your job is fine. Choosing it to show off or look less Muslim is worth reflecting on. The Prophet ﷺ said deeds are judged by intentions (Sahih al-Bukhari 1). See Can hijab be stylish and fashionable?
- A turban alone usually leaves the neck bare.
- With a neck cover and loose top, it can be complete.
- Some scholars prefer a scarf that drapes the chest.
- Check your intention behind the style.
