Yes. Jewelry, including gold and silver, is allowed for women in Islam. Earrings and necklaces are adornment, so in front of non-mahram men they stay under your hijab. Rings and bracelets on the hands are widely allowed to show. Just avoid jewelry that jingles to draw attention.

Jewelry is allowed

The Prophet ﷺ said that wearing silk and gold was made unlawful for the men of his community and lawful for its women (Jami' at-Tirmidhi 1720). Women in his time wore earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets. When he encouraged the women to give charity after the Eid sermon, they started giving away their earrings and rings on the spot (Sahih al-Bukhari 98).

Covered in public

The Quran tells women not to display their adornment except what appears, and to draw their head covers over their chests (Quran 24:31). Since earrings are worn on the ears and necklaces on the neck and chest, both of which are covered by hijab, they naturally stay hidden in front of non-mahram men. That's one reason many women wear studs or small earrings that sit comfortably under a scarf.

At home, among women and with your husband, show them off as you like.

Rings and bracelets

  • Rings: early scholars like Ibn Abbas included rings in "what appears," so most allow them.
  • Bracelets: fine on the wrist and hands; bangles that slide up the arm stay under sleeves.
  • Anklets: keep them hidden and silent; the Quran forbids stamping the feet to make hidden adornment known (Quran 24:31).
  • Watches: no issue at all.

Some scholars advise keeping jewelry on the hands simple in public, rather than piling on eye-catching pieces.

Zakat on gold

If you own a lot of gold or silver jewelry, ask whether zakat is due on it. Scholars differ on jewelry that's worn regularly. See Do I pay zakat on gold jewelry I wear? And if you're wondering about piercings themselves, see Can I keep my piercings after becoming Muslim?
