What do I do on Eid if I have to work all day?

Working on Eid isn't a sin, and you can still celebrate. Try to catch an early Eid prayer before your shift, do the simple morning sunnahs, share something sweet at work, and save the family celebration for the evening or the next days of Eid. Allah knows your situation.
Is it okay to work on Eid?
Yes. Fasting on Eid is forbidden, but working isn't. Many Muslims in Europe and the USA can't get the day off, especially when the moon-sighting date is announced late. Ask for the day off if you can, and if the answer is no, don't feel guilty. See How do I ask my employer for Eid off?
Fit in the Eid prayer
The Eid prayer starts shortly after sunrise, and many Western mosques run an early first session, often between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. Check the times the night before and ask your manager to start an hour later or swap your break. If you truly can't make it, see What if I miss the Eid prayer?
Keep the small sunnahs
- Take a shower and wear your best clean clothes, even under a uniform.
- On Eid al-Fitr, eat a few dates before leaving home; the Prophet ﷺ would eat an odd number of dates before going out (Sahih al-Bukhari 953).
- Say the takbir on your way and during breaks: "Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, la ilaha illallah..."
- Greet Muslim colleagues with "Eid Mubarak" and call family during lunch.
Bring Eid to work
A box of baklava, dates or homemade sweets in the staff room is a lovely way to mark the day and explain Eid to coworkers. Many converts find their colleagues are curious and kind about it. If your workplace is friendly, you could even invite them to an Eid gathering later. See Can I invite my coworkers to an Eid celebration?
Celebrate after work and on the next days
Eid doesn't end at 5 p.m. Have a special dinner, visit friends in the evening, or plan the big celebration for the weekend. Eid al-Adha in particular is followed by the days of tashriq, which the Prophet ﷺ called "days of eating and drinking" (Sahih Muslim 1141). See How long does Eid last?
